Network Engineer

Qualifications

> Strong experience with Juniper MX and QFX series.
> Knowledge of layer 2 security features (DHCP snooping, dynampic ARP  inspection, IP source guard)
> Knowledge of DHCP
> Advanced knowlege of BGP policies and attributes
> Strong written and verbal skills
> Experience in the web hosting industry is a plus
> Preference for availability between 12PM and 2 AM Eastern (8 hour shift)

Data Center Technician

Data center technicians work at the heart of the shipcomet infrastructure. Building, maintaining, and troubleshooting server issues hands on to provide our global customer base with an exceptional experience. A great personality and a team player is a must. Qualifications

> Can assemble a server/computer
> Basic understanding of networking (switches, routers, etc)
> Provide support for IT hardware as specified by or utilized in Data Center environment
> Onsite server builds and decommissions
> OS installation and configuration
> Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot hardware/server issues with focus on responsiveness while providing problem resolution
> Cabling – install cables, connections and cross-connects to data center and customer equipment
> Escalating issues to ensure prompt resolution
> Collaboration with teammates
> Willingness to learn and improve technical skills through various operating systems
> Experience with Linux and Windows Server a plus!
> Previous data center experience a plus!
> Strong written and verbal skills
